A: Cut fabric strips 2 7/8 inches wide across all three fabrics then cut these strips into 2 7/8 by 2 7/8 squares.
B: Align one dark brown square over one Hawaii Dots square and mark out a center diagonal line
C: Sew the two fabric pieces together by stitching 1/4 inch from the center line on both sides of the diagonal line
D: After sewn, cut the above squares in half on the diagonal and press open to create the "G-1" square. You will need 12 Dots on Blue with Brown and 12 Dots on Green with Brown squares.

Step 9: You'll need 8 "G-2" Triangles, Dots on Blue and 8 "G-2" Triangles, Dots on Green. Cut some 2 7/8 by 2 7/8 squares (you made in Step 8) in half on the diagonal.
After the cutting is done proceed to the Piecing Instructions. Be sure to stay as squared up as possible in order to align all points.
